Tips to Help You Organize Your Car

Start the New Year with a clean and organized car.

If one of your New Year’s resolutions was to get organized, then make sure you don’t forget about your car.  There are many things that you can do to ensure that your car stays clean and organized this year.  Try out these tips to clear your clutter and get on top of things.

  • Place Cupcake Liners in Your Cup Holders

Over time, your car’s cup holders can become grimy, sticky messes.  To avoid having to scrub all the gunk out of your cup holders, consider placing cupcake liners into each of your cup holders.  Not only will they catch fallen crumbs, but they will also act as a barrier between spilled drinks and your cup holder.  Just make sure you are using silicone or other waterproof liners for the job.

  • Keep a Laundry Basket in the Back

Keeping a laundry basket in your trunk will help you transport things in a safe and orderly manner.  For instance, if you go grocery shopping, place all your grocery bags in the basket.  This will prevent your bags from sliding around your trunk and will stop the contents of the bags from being strewn throughout your vehicle.  As an added bonus, placing all your groceries in the laundry basket will make it much easier to transport all your groceries from your car to your house.

  • Put a Shoe Organizer on Your Passenger Seat

Finally, a great way to keep your car neat and organized is by hooking a hanging shoe organizer onto the back of your passenger seat.  Keep essentials such as paper towels, hand sanitizer, water, snacks, and so on in each individual pouch.  Not only will these items be easy to reach, but they will also ensure that you are prepared without your car looking like a cluttered mess.
