Inspect your tires.

Rotation.
Make sure to have your tires rotated on a regular basis. As you drive your tires experience wear and tear differently. When you rotate your tires, you get a longer tire life, since they are more evenly worn. Check the manufacturer recommendations or simply have them rotated every few months.
Check the tire pressure.
Your tire pressure has a happy medium. Too much pressure or too little pressure and you risk losing air or popping a tire. Gage the correct tire pressure with a pressure gage. Check the pressure every so often, especially before a big trip or carrying a heavy load.
Respect the speed limit.
The faster you drive, the greater the risk for damaging your tires. Make sure that you follow the speed limit to avoid causing any damages to your tires.
Check your tire traction.
Your tire traction helps you stay in control of your vehicle. If your tires are worn, they’re a safety hazard, and you need to replace them. Have them inspected by a professional or conduct a penny test. To conduct a penny test, take a penny and insert it into the grooves of your tire. If you can see Lincoln’s head then you need to replace your tires.
